Biden tested positive for covid-19 on Wednesday and is experiencing mild
symptoms, according to the white House.

"President
Joe Biden, 81, has tested positive for COVID-19 after attending an event in Las
Vegas. The President's doctor has started him on treatment with Paxlovid, and he
will be isolating at his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as recommended by
the CDC.
Biden's
doctor said the President was feeling under the weather, with symptoms like a
runny nose and cough, and was planning to attend an event when he was not
feeling any better. That is when they decided to get a rapid COVID test, which
came back positive.
The White
House confirmed the news after UnidosUS President Janet Murguía announced it at
the conference, revealing that Biden was an hour and a half late to his
scheduled appearance. Murguía spoke with Biden on the phone and said he was
disappointed not to be able to join them, but had just tested positive for
COVID."
